If you are looking for a way to get your hands dirty in the fresh air you are very welcome to join us for a working session. We work almost year round on a Tuesday 5-7pm and Sunday 2-4pm. Please check our events calendar. Tools and gloves available or bring your own.
The community garden at St Leonards Warrior Square Station is our first growing project in the area. Originally designed by landscape architect and artist Julia Hilton in 2016 and planted, tended and watered by a fabulous group of local volunteers, the garden is still going strong after ten years.
We’re very excited to be transforming the environment around the station and getting local residents working and growing together.

We have received generous support from the following:
- Keepers Nursery
- Littlewoods Fencing
- Gardenscape Direct Ltd
- Bohemia Walled Garden
- Alexandra Park Greenhouse Group
- Ken Davis
- Francoise Cooper
- Pea Pod Veg
- Trinity Wholefoods
- Chris Dodwell
- Leigh Dyer
“Warrior Square station garden was looking beautiful when I passed by on the train yesterday. Not enough time to run out the door and grab some leaves but lovely to see. Well done all involved. A perfect example of how a once neglected small green space can become a productive and beautiful habitat.”
– Adam Clamp, Hastings Environment Network
