Learn how to plan and plant an edible border with Anna Locke. An introduction to growing food in harmony with nature, even when space is limited.

Thur 9 June INTRODUCTION TO GROWING OYSTER MUSHROOMS
Chris Richards, local oyster mushroom grower, will introduce you to the wonderful world of mushrooms and in particular gourmet oyster mushrooms. You’ll learn about the life cycle of mushrooms and how they’re grown locally on waste coffee grounds from local cafes in a low tech way that reduces food miles and the need for big agriculture. At the end of the workshop you’ll be able to take home an oyster mushroom grow kit to grow your own oyster mushrooms at home.
