Part of Chelsea Fringe 2017

Join Transition Town Hastings at the new community fruit & veg garden at St Leonards Warrior Square Train Station. We will be hosting a garden swap shop and planting sessions for adults and children from 11-3pm.

Bring your unwanted garden tools, plants, seeds and other garden related stuff. You can just bring or just take away… or both!

Throughout the day we will be planting in unusual containers – please bring old teapots, wellies, an old Tonka toy trunk or a suitcase maybe?

Also expect some musicians to drop by and play some tunes, share in a pot of tea and you will be able to try some produce, directly from the garden!

All items MUST be 100% free and must be from domestic (not commercial) sources.
Please try to bring things as early as possible (definitely before 2pm).
If you have bulky items, like furniture, then please don’t bring these to the swap shop.
Don’t bring anything illegal!
Don’t bring anything dangerous (no sharp knives, weapons, etc)
No pets or livestock!!
No rubbish. Please don’t bring anything that really is no good to anyone. The Swap Shop is run a small group of local people who volunteer their time to organise these events and we don’t want to end up with a whole room full of rubbish to take to the dump!
No electrical/electronics please!
